My wife and I had our AC broke at the end of business day on a Friday. With a two month old baby in the house, we started to call anyone and everyone who could help. Rick's Cooling came by reference from my boss. David (who I believe is Rick's son) came the very next morning promptly at 9am, located the issue (replaced the capacitor since it was having trouble starting up) and was out by 10:30am. Cost for this was also reasonable considering that they received my call with helpfulness in short notice ($165). David was also able to educate me on the issue, which is a big thing with me - living in Miami, you get a lot of ppl who don't speak the same dialect or aren't transparent enough, leaving you at the mercy of their services. But I came away now knowing a bit more about my system. Great service!

Our central A/C drain got clogged and started leaking water into the HVAC closet in our house. Unfortunately, this happened on a Sunday, and Rick's isn't open on Sundays, but they were able to come out the next day (and were even able to come out earlier than they initially estimated - bonus!). David was great. Very knowledgeable, nice, and did a great job. He unclogged our drain, fixed the connection, explained how we can try to prevent this from happening again, and had everything up and running in about 20 minutes. Having the central air break down in summertime in Florida is not fun, but Rick's is great at getting the A/C running again. Thank you!

My air conditioning was not working properly and I was given David's cell phone by my building office. He answered and said he could maybe get me in that same day but if he could not asked if tomorrow would work. I said sure as it was somewhat working so was not overly hot in my condo. David called me back within a couple hours and said he could be here in an hour. He came right on time and is such a nice guy! He figured out the problem right away. PVC pipes were all clogged and caused the pan to fill which shuts the unit off. He got everything unclogged and cleaned the pan too! He also installed my Nest thermostat. David came and installed a 5 ton 16 seer Rheem system inside and outside units in my home. We have been struggling for years with the house not cooling properly. He was able to identify the issues.
